To control illegal activities in Karnataka's famous tourism spot Mysuru's Chamundi hills, the District administration decided to restrict entry to the tourists after 10 pm.
ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ತಾಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಅನೈತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಡಿವಾಣ ಹಾಕುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತ ಚಾಮುಂಡಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗೇಟ್ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿ, ಬೀಗ ಜಡಿಯಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದೆ.
